                                        Whether I'm cruising down old Route 66 or slowly traversing a hidden canyon in Baja,

                                        it's the anticipation of discovery I enjoy while creating new images.  I feel comfortable

                                        in the spiny landscapes of the Southwest, but never seem to tire of the backroads in

                                        Mexico.  Actually, I can't remember a road I didn't long to drive, a story I wouldn't

                                        enjoy hearing, or a landscape I wasn't compelled to hike.  Over the past two decades I've

                                        worked for many national publications and some international ones.  I've covered news and

                                        written several coffee table books including, Under the Sun, published by Bulfinch Press,

                                        and Living Homes, published by Chronicle Books.   I have recently re-located to San Marino,
