I could spend weeks, months, multiple years, exploring the four corners region (where Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado meet) .  The colors of the canyon walls match the evening and morning colors of the sky.  Spires, buttes, and

mesas rise above the desert floor, organic sculptures that create a mystical place to contemplate man's insignificance

in the scheme of life.  Hawks soar, their screams echo off the rock walls, while small prey scurry for cover.  Animal

trails and droppings are abundant, more abundant than man's footprint.  It's reassuring to know a place exists where

we are not king.
